CNC Operator - Full-time / Part-time

Our client in the machining sector is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the Machine Shop team, supporting production operations.  The ideal candidate will have CNC and other machine shop experience which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  CNC Operator

Shift:  Monday - Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm with O/T on Fridays as needed

Location:  Saugerties, NY

Pay Range:  $21 - $36 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Operate CNC Machines using the set-up instructions provided by the CNC Programmer.   
• Set up & operate various surface grindings & equipment.
• Set up and operate Robo-Gappers for center-post gapping.
• Ability to lap or polish product to a required surface finish.
• Perform various assembly operations using epoxies or glues and associated clamping devices.

 What’s Needed?

• Advance understanding of CNC Machines and shop machinery/equipment.
• Able to make mathematical calculations efficiently and accurately.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, optical equipment and gauges.
