Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive maintenance and preventative care on a variety of refrigeration systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
• Skillfully diagnose system malfunctions and perform necessary repairs, from leak fixes to replacing defective components.
• Design, fabricate, and install piping and supports according to industry standards, ensuring the longevity and safety of installations.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to accurately identify issues and verify the effectiveness of repairs and adjustments.
• Efficiently manage documentation related to service calls, maintenance schedules, and project executions, maintaining high standards of professionalism and communication.
• Ensure the service vehicle is properly maintained, stocked with essential tools and parts, and meets all safety guidelines.
• Strengthen customer relations by delivering exceptional service, providing technical insights, and ensuring satisfaction with all repair and maintenance work.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certification in HVAC-R is highly valued.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in commercial refrigeration technology, or 3 years with a relevant Technical School degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC systems, including diagnostics, repair, and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and apply basic electrical principles.
• Certified in safe handling of refrigerants and familiar with the regulations governing hazardous materials.

Preferred:

• A degree from an accredited HVAC-R Technical School.
• Specific experience with well-known refrigeration brands and models, offering a competitive edge in troubleshooting and repairs.
