Automotive Service Writer

Job Summary:

Lamoille Valley Ford is looking for a highly motivated Automotive Service Writer to join our team. This full-time, hourly paid individual contributor role is necessary to deliver quality service and to ensure that our customers receive the best car service experience.

Responsibilities:

Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service and repair process.
Provide customers with quotations and estimates for requested service and repairs.
Secure authorizations for repairs, along with a thorough explanation of what services and repairs will be performed.
Maintain an accurate, timely, detailed account of all repair orders, customer information, and services performed.
Keep informed of customer needs, major repair trends, industry news, and other automotive needs.
Provide quality customer service at all times.
Perform general administrative tasks, as assigned.

Requirements:

Exceptional customer service skills.
Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
