Laundry Linen Attendant - West Omaha Hotel

Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant at Staybridge Suites Omaha West is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel's linen supply. This position is a vital part of ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay for our guests. As a key member of the housekeeping team, the Laundry Attendant plays an essential role in maintaining the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $17 per hour, paid biweekly. Employees are also eligible for benefits such paid time off after one year of employement, and immediate hotel discounts. There is a $500 hiring bonus; pays $250 at ninety days of employment and $250 at six months of employment.

Responsibilities:
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and towels according to established standards
• Inspect linens for damage or stains and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor
• Keep laundry equipment clean and in good working condition
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry room
• Distribute clean linens to housekeeping staff as needed
• Assist in maintaining inventory of linens and supplies
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to any requests or concerns in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50lbs for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and products preferred
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
