Program Manager, Data Center Construction

Minimum qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or equivalent practical experience.5 years of experience in program or project management.5 years of experience with technical teams in project management, engineering, and construction of data centers or mission critical facilities.5 years of experience with electrical, mechanical, controls, security monitoring, fire safety, networking/fiber.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical fields.8 years of experience with data center equipment/environments, including electrical switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, controls, security monitoring systems and fire safety systems, with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.Experience managing vendor relationships and understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry, including knowledge of fast track design build processes and associated documents and contracts.Experience in requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and achieving objectives within set goals. You will be managing and coordinating the needs of multiple partner teams, while managing changes and maintaining a focus on keeping the project on schedule and budget. In this role, you'll manage large scale technical projects in a rapidly changing industry. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Responsibilities Manage data center projects from inception through to completion.Support special research and development experiments, renovations, and upgrades of existing facility.Be responsible for gathering internal requirements and delivering solutions that satisfy customer needs.Maintain responsibility from construction to deployment.Resolve highly critical issues within a matrixed organization while maintaining adherence to project timelines and costs.
