Engineering Intern

 As an Engineering Intern at Oxbo, you will be working in a fast-paced environment applying your engineering skills on complex, innovative harvesting machinery built on-site. You will expand your engineering knowledge as a member of an engineering team at our Clear Lake, WI facility with real responsibility and meaningful work. This position is hands-on, providing opportunities to build, test, and optimize the prototypes you develop in the office. Job DutiesProblem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementationApplication of engineering principles to new and existing designsDesign and documentation projects with a product-based teamCAD modeling and drafting using SolidworksExposure to manufacturing operations that include steel sheet and plate laser cutting and forming, welding, machining, and painting, as well as final assemblyTest plan creation and execution, including time spent in the field QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related fieldExperience using SOLIDWORKS or other 3D solid modeling softwareSelf-motivatedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communications and organizational skillsBasic understanding of manufacturing and fabrication methodsDemonstrated interest in working with machinery/equipmentPositions are available May-AugustTo find out more information about Oxbo go to http://www.oxbo.com About OxboExcellent People, Unique Products, Variety in WorkAt Oxbo we design, manufacture and distribute innovative harvesting equipment and related products.
