Your focus will be on fostering engineering excellence, implementing metrics-driven management, and cultivating a high-performing team within an open and innovative culture.Work with a dynamic, high caliber, cross functional team including engineering, product and design to create world class solutions that deliver on LPL’s mission and promise to our Advisors: We take care of our advisors so they can take care of their clients.Work in an empowering environment to build high performing teams that create quality solutions.  The individual will be well versed in digital-native cloud technologies and have experience with the technologies listed below.  The principle responsibilities for this position will be focused on setting up the technologists for success.  This will include working cross functionally to ensure the development patterns are well defined and understood by the teams.Responsibilities:Lead and drive a culture of engineering excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.Build and lead a world-class software engineering team, fostering growth, mentorship, and collaboration among team members.Define, monitor, and govern software development best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines to maintain a cohesive and efficient engineering ecosystem.Establish and monitor key engineering metrics to drive performance, productivity, and efficiency improvements throughout the software development life cycle.Analyze data and instrumentation to identify trends, make informed decisions, and continuously optimize the software development process.Strategic Planning and ExecutionWork closely with executive leadership to align engineering strategies with business objectives and develop long-term technology roadmaps.Collaborate with product management to deliver world class technical solutions to our customers that are intuitiveand frictionless.Partner with architecture, security, and infrastructure leaders, QE and DevOps to share learnings and reduce technical dependencies.Execute within an agile framework with a focus on delivering high value solutions frequently to our customers.Requirements:10+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, preferably in Agile and/or product based delivery methodologies. Strong Engineering leader leading teams in multiple locations. Demonstrated experience in to shape a strategic vision, drive execution and lead change. Track record for building and leading diverse teams and growing/hiring successors. Technical Competencies:10+ Years experience within a combination of .NET, Angular and JavaScript, SQL Server, AWS (container and sever-less), Git, Visual Studio and/or front-end technologies including CSS, Semantic HTML and Responsive DesigPreferences:Experience with Supervision Regulatory technology solutions coupled with a strong understanding of appropriate metrics and key performance indicators. Financial Service industry background in broker dealer or wealth managementPay Range: $181,280-$271,920/yearActual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
