Responsibilities:
- Perform assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
- Offer direct therapy services to address speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow professionals to enhance student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights into student needs and progress.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of provided services.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Hold a valid SLP license in Michigan.
- Preferred experience working with school-aged children.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing special education services.
