Position: Part-Time Office Assistant

Location: Jewett, Texas

About Us: Texas Pride Processing is a reputable meat processing plant located in the heart of Texas. We are committed to providing our customers with the finest quality meat processing services available for a variety of livestock and exotic game. As a growing company we are seeking a dedicated part-time Office Assistant to join our team and support our daily operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Outside Sales and Marketing: Engage in outside sales activities; primarily visiting sale barns to market our products and generate sales leads.
  • Answering phones: Manage incoming and outgoing calls and questions.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input and update information into our database system.
  • Scheduling: Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings as needed.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments for customers efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration, customer service, and/or sales preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Outgoing personality
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Schedule:

This position is part-time, approximately 15-20 hours per week. The majority of the time will be spent outside at sale barns for marketing purposes, with additional hours in the office as needed to provide support.

Pay Rate: $13.50/hr plus mileage for outside sales duties
