Cajun Boys & Our Po'Boys is looking for a bartender/server to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender/server to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartenders/servers will be able to create an experience exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take and serve orders
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Preferred knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks, but not required
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Willingness to learn and be flexible
- ServSafe certification a plus
