High School Math Teacher- 2023/2024 School Year

Sequoia Village School is looking for a distinctive individual who has the ability to teach Algebra I & Geometry or Algebra 2 & Pre-Calc. The primary role of this individual is to be able to educate students in an engaging manner utilizing ACCR Standards. This individual should be able to involve students through various rigorous hands on activities, collaborative groups, direct instruction and implement critical thinking strategies that reinforce deeper learning. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build healthy relationships with students in a positive manner that motivates the students to achieve to their highest level possible.

This instructor is responsible to collaborate with teachers on continuous improvement goals, professional development, PLCs, support ongoing programs throughout the school, and be a positive contributor on campus.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• AZ teaching certificate preferred
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Highly qualified status in at least one math content area
• High School teaching experience preferred
