Commercial Property Manager
Reports to: Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000

This position is hybrid eligible, with travel between real property holdings as needed. If electing a hybrid schedule, the successful candidate will be located within 30 minutes of the MCEC Headquarters.
Position Overview: As a Commercial Property Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our properties, ensuring tenants' needs are met, and maximizing the profitability of our real estate portfolio. You will work closely with the Deputy Chief Executive Officer to develop and implement strategies to enhance property performance and tenant satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate management, or related field (preferred)
- 5+ years proven experience in property management or real estate operations required
- Strong understanding of property management principles, leasing practices, and local regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Build, maintain and manage relationships with outside property management groups and leasing agents
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Develop and implement leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and enforce lease terms.
- Working together with the Facilities Operations Manager, oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective property maintenance.
- Prepare and manage property budgets, track expenses, and report on financial performance.
- Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and recommend pricing strategies to maximize rental income.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and advertising campaigns to attract prospective tenants.
- Stay informed about local laws, regulations, and market conditions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer on property performance, financial metrics, and operational issues.
