Controller

We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the overall financial administration of the facility, including general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, cash management, grants management, procurement data processing, budgeting and forecasting, and financial reporting and analysis for the facility in accordance with all facility and corporate policies and procedures and consistent with the policy on ethical practices.
• Assist the CFO in ensuring that the internal controls are adequate to safeguard the facility’s assets and that the accounting systems are sufficient to generate accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee and coordinate accounts receivable activities and personnel
• Oversee Staff Accountants
• Assist with Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Payer Provider Enrollment and Credentialing to ensure timely processes
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Conduct internal audits and assists with annual audits
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• FQHC experience a plus
