Computer Support Specialist


Job Duties:

a. Conduct and coordinate Vulnerability Assessment and management

b. Work with Stakeholders to improve Data Classification and Data loss prevention tasks

c. Conduct and/or evaluate Governance and Risk compliance tasks

d. Test and evaluate new technology

e. Investigating security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents

f. Work with IT to improve security measures


Education/Experience requirements:

a. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

b. At least 5 years’ experience within Information Security/Cyber Security or related field.


Other knowledge, skills & abilities:

a. Knowledge of Information Security Frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001.

b. Knowledge of 23 NYCRR Part 500.

c. Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management

d. Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques.

e. Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts.

f. Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them.

g. Experienced with penetration testing and techniques is a plus.

h. Excellent written and oral communication skills.



Additional Information:

- A background check and fingerprinting will be required. The background check should include verification of education and

employment.

- Interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams

- DFS does not provide parking, but the office is accessible by bus or subway

- Once training has been provided, DFS currently has a 50% telecommuting policy in place
