Hot Forming Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent automotive parts manufacturer in the LaSalle/Peru, IL area. We are seeking Hot Forming Operators to join their team! This is a temp-to-hire position offering a wide range of perks such as health, dental and vision insurance.
Hot Forming Operator Job Summary:
- Position starts at $21/hour.
- Training hours 6AM-2:30PM
- Temp-to-hire.
- Perform set up of equipment used in manufacturing hot formed products.
- Change various worn or damaged tooling when necessary. Record tool life when changing a tool.
- Verify product quality.
- Record product dimensions.
- Perform various maintenance on the machine when needed.
Hot Forming Operator Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Some college courses in industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing position preferred.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude.
