Seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent in Markle, IN, US, to oversee the entire construction process. The primary responsibility of this position is to effectively manage trade contractors, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of all tasks while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Compensation:

$55,000 - $75,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily activities of construction from pre-construction meeting until completion
  • Maintain relationships with owners, sales team, trade contractors, and vendors
  • Maintain construction budgets and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget project completion
  • Maintain on-site quality control and job safety plans
  • Conduct owner walk-throughs and meetings
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Superintendent experience in wood-framed construction
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Thorough understanding of all stages of construction with the ability to read blueprints, specifications, design books, and drawings
  • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses
  • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length
  • Basic technology skills including Microsoft Suite
  • Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
