About the Job:

Field Duties:

• Work in the field hand and hand with various crews learning different trades
• Learn Fieldwire software by completing daily logs, jobsite documentation forms, and capture jobsite progress photos.
• Use surveying equipment to assist layout of a building. Equipment may include Total Station, rotary lasers, tape measures, plumb bobs, and 3D scanner.
• Assist superintendent in leading jobsite meetings.
• Read project blueprints with superintendent and execute plans to meet schedule.
• Prepare tools and equipment for daily tasks by checking oil and filling up equipment with fuel.
• Develop a 2 week look ahead schedule with the project superintendent and communicate schedule with subcontractors.

Office Duties:

• Work with a project manager to create a project schedule.
• Solicit bids from subcontractors in the procurement phase of a project.
• Prepare costs for change requests and update change order logs.
• Review RFIs and coordinate with project manager
• Review shop drawings
• Attend jobsite meetings with project manager
• Generate job specific quantity take offs.
• Learn Fieldwire software by reviewing daily logs, jobsite documentation forms, updating blueprints, and review progress photos.
• Participate in weekly project management department meetings
