SMT Programer Level 1 – $22/hour
Our client in Apopka, FL, is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. Ideal candidate will have recent certification in AutoCAD (or similar), 0- 2 years experience with SMT programming and desire to be part of a small but growing company that specializes in electronic components primarily supporting the healthcare and defense industries. What will you be doing?
- Primary responsibility will be to convert CAD (gerber) files to SMT usable data and programming of SMT machines. Programming will consist of both data entry and direct interaction with the SMT machines.
- Preparing,developing and updating drawings to support the engineering group.
- Filing and organizing drawings.
- Hands on training with SMT machines.
What do you bring?
- HS Diploma / GED
- Advanced secondary or vocational school related to SMT programming with 0-2 years of experience
- Professional communication style as will be working along side Operations Manpower, Quality Manager and Engineering team.
- Proficient math skills as this position requires the understanding / computing of standard and non-standard formulas and/or ratios.
- Must have good computer skills including experience with MS Excel, databases (MS Access) and graphics applications (AutoCAD).
