Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated HR Manager.
Location: fully onsite in Talladega, Alabama
HR Manager Responsibilities:
Other Information:
This HR Manager will have two direct reports and will be responsible for mentoring them.
Previous experience managing direct reports is needed.
They will be responsible for weekly check-ins with the team, therefore strong communication and responsiveness vital.
Fixed working hours to follow manufacturing schedule (ET 7am - 3pm or 8 am to 5 pm).
Experience within manufacturing settings preferred.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Analyze existing human resources processes, identify gaps in current systems, and participate in resolution projects.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Apply project management procedures and best practices to HR initiatives.
- Responsible for communicating HR system
evaluation or implementation updates throughout the project lifecycle. - Fulfill onboarding and offboarding needs at a corporate level, and will have some support from the 2 direct reports on this
HR Manager Qualifications –
- Proven experience as an HR Manager handling personnel matters, incidents reports, and other day to day HR tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
