Job Opportunity: Full-Time ESY Speech Language Pathologist
Position: Full-Time Extended School Year (ESY) Speech Language Pathologist
Caseload: 40 students between the ages of 3 and 8th grade, including some K-4 self-contained students
Schedule: 14 days total for the summer, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The ideal candidate will provide expressive, receptive, and pragmatic instruction to students with diverse communication needs. Some students may require assistance with assistive technology.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Therapy endorsement
- Experience working with students with a range of communication disorders and abilities
- Knowledge of various speech and language assessment tools and techniques
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
