Your role as an Expo at The Fish House is extremely important to our success. Your speed and efficiency are imperative to the smooth operation of the kitchen and satisfaction of our guests. It is our goal to train you extensively on how to perform your job, and to provide you with the necessary tools and equipment to complete your daily duties.

What you’ll be doing to make an impact at GSRs:

  • Consistently complying with our standard portion sizes, standards, kitchen rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation area.
  • Following proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.
  • Handles, stores, and rotates products properly.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
  • Ability to speak and understand English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to:
    1. Standing and walking during an entire shift, averaging to 8 hours per shift.
    2. Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying supplies up to 50 pounds in weight.
    3. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight on a regular basis.
  • A team player’s mentality with good communication skills and the ability to stay positive under pressure.
