Director of Nursing (DON)

Peabody Retirement Community is looking for an experienced Director of Nursing for our skilled Nursing Facility. We have a dynamic team, a strong census, and exciting opportunities for the right person.Qualifications of Director of Nursing:Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.Valid State licensure as an RNFamiliar with state & federal regulations.Must hold and maintain a current CPR certificationThree (3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term careMust be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information.Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with residents, families, and other employees at all levels.

• Ensures that the care plans, initial assessments, quarterly assessments, annual assessments, and documents of similar nature are filed in a thorough manner
• Provides guidance and leadership in meeting the CMS standards of quality.
• Oversees the safety and infection control programs for the nursing department.
• Oversees and coordinates the clinical operations of the facility implementing shared governance and relationship-based care
• Oversight of the nursing floor, CNAs & LPN and Residents

• Valid State licensure as an RN
• Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience in long-term care
