THE OPPORTUNITY

We are expanding our portfolio of premium cannabis brands to build something incredible. As our Production Coordinator, you know how to partner cross-functionally throughout the organization to effectively optimize workflows and productivity. You are a quick learner and know how to forecast and plan for what is coming while helping to execute the day-to-day operations of the business. You are a self-starter, organized, adaptable, and embrace continuous and rapid change.

As a team player, you build strong relationships across the organization and with all our external vendors and partners. You have a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality and production experience preferably in the cannabis, pharmaceutical, food or beverage industry.

We are growing fast and need someone to come in and own this role. This is a great opportunity to work for a fast-paced rapidly growing startup within the ever-growing cannabis industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Coordinate, monitor, and adjust all production requirements cross-functionally, working closely with cultivation, co-manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and distribution to optimize production efficiency and flows.
  • Forecast, plan, and deliver the company's production plans while working with multiple vendors
  • Maintain the integrity of our products and brands by ensuring that all packaging and products meet quality and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure all 3rd party partner's processes and equipment adhere to the regulatory standards and requirements and the company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Develop, measure, and monitor operational plans through reporting and frequent updates to the management team.
  • Develop and update SOPs, championing a culture of compliance, leading by example to focus on quality and efficiency.

We are a start-up, rolling up our sleeves to build something bigger than ourselves. This means that other duties may arise, and we support one another in accomplishing what's needed.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum two (2) years of progressive experience in a production role responsible for production planning.
  • Bachelor's Degree is a bonus.
  • Lean manufacturing experience in cannabis, food or beverage processing, or a highly regulated and fast-moving consumer goods environment.
  • Proficient with ERP and other Microsoft office products.
  • Keen ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • You are a quick learner and can adapt and pivot quickly when needed
  • You are organized and prioritize your work to meet deadlines, adapting to unexpected priorities.
  • You are collaborative and build effective relationships to enable the Company to reach its goals
  • You excel in an unstructured, start-up environment, and bring an element of precision and organization.
