Occupational Health and Safety
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, typically 7.5 hours per day, Hybrid (2-3 days in-office, 2-3 days telework)
Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and driven Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work on projects tasked by Commonwealth Agencies, review AIPP compliance, conduct safety inspections, and reduce Workers' Compensation claims. You will also supervise a team of onsite Occupational Safety Specialists.
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of two safety onsite professionals
Plan and organize service requests to meet target dates and production goals
Develop and deliver health and safety training in person or via webinars
Conduct assessments, audits, incident investigations, and agency AIPP reviews
Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and provide recommendations
Ensure agency AIPP compliance and update as needed
Provide on-site health and safety support independently
Collaborate in a team environment and adapt to client needs
Work professionally and directly with Commonwealth officials
Travel up to 30%, including periodic overnight travel

Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field
OR B.S. in any field and PA L&I BWC AIPP Qualification
Minimum 5 years of occupational safety experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Strong risk assessment, audit, and communication skills
