Job Summary:
We are in need of experienced, reliable, and friendly Warehouse/Stock to help with receiving and stocking product, loading customers, maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse, and occasional deliveries. The best candidates will not mind working in all weather conditions, have a strong sense of urgency, and will have a keen eye for accuracy and completeness in their work.
The yard staff is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from trucks and safely moving material within the warehouse by carrying, lifting, and safely operating hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment. Yard staff are expected to maintain a positive representation of Woodland Ag & Home by providing an outstanding customer service experience consistent with company values. They should be willing to continually learn and expand their knowledge of the retail industry. Their job will include, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading customers vehicles. Check paperwork to make sure the correct products are loaded.
• Help unload and load trucks in a safe manner
• Ensure all inbound merchandise is checked in per store procedures
• Operate a forklift or pallet jack safely and efficiently
• Put away product maintaining proper rotation
• Help maintain organization in the warehouses
• Assist in taking regular inventory of stock
• Create an inviting environment for customers by maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, which will include housekeeping tasks as needed
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Always have a customer-first mentality

Qualifications:

• Driver's License in good standing
• Willingness to gain a vast knowledge of consumable products
• Experience in a retail environment preferred
• Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask
• Understand how to safely operate a forklift
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
• Able to walk, reach, climb ladders, and bend to perform job duties
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs frequently
