Our client, Leading Healthcare and medical device manufacturer is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their team. 

 

Role: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Charleroi, PA
Duration: Long term


Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates that best meet the qualifications for open positions available at the site. Candidates are identified using established hiring criteria, critical skills for the roles as well as future goals of the business. As a representative of the company during this process, they need to ensure a good candidate experience.

Essential Responsibilities: 
• Plan and execute recruiting strategies to support assigned the site; manage recruiting activities, correspondence, and data analysis through the applicant tracking system.
• Proactively recruit qualified candidates for non-exempt positions using a variety of sources.
• Work closely with hiring managers to create prescreening questions, report status of current activities, and coordinate scheduling of interviews.
• Review resumes and credentials for appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities in relation to position requirements.
• Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position being sourced.
• Work closely with HR to ensure offer process is good experience for the candidate.
• Manage new hire process, including new hire paperwork as required.
• Ensure that internal and external recruiting processes are carried out in compliance with appropriate policies, guidelines, and laws; provide guidance to supervisors and employees as necessary.
• Maintain recruiting documentation for tracking requisition processing, applicant flow, and recruiting effectiveness statistics; generate necessary recruiting reports as required.
• Collaborate with managers and supervisors to anticipate short- and long-term staffing needs and develop pro-active recruiting strategies to effectively address them.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Minimum of 8 years of previous recruiting experience in manufacturing required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-starter with history of producing results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task important.
• Previous experience utilizing WorkDay a plus
