Position Overview: Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Full-Time Behavior Specialist to join our dynamic team in Los Olivos, CA. The Behavior Specialist will play a key role in implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients and contribute to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans based on individualized needs and goals
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and other assessments as needed
- Provide direct support and intervention to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including therapists, case managers, and caregivers
- Monitor progress and modify intervention strategies as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- CPI Training Certification
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
