Volt is seeking a skilled and dependable Truck Wire Assembler to join our dynamic team in Fresno, California. Our company is dedicated to providing top-quality services and we value individuals who are committed to excellence and teamwork.
Job Description:
The Truck Wire Assembler will be responsible for wiring truck and accessory equipment using 12 VDC circuits. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of basic electrical 12 VDC circuits, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and execute work orders accurately.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits.
  • Utilize multi-meters to read voltage, amperage draw, and resistance.
  • Interpret engineering blueprints, basic wiring schematics, and diagrams.
  • Terminate wires using solder, heat shrink connectors, Deutsch connectors, and various automotive connectors.
  • Wire switches, relays, fuses, PTO, hydraulic valves, run wire harnesses, and integrate truck body builders with truck switches or safety interlocks.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
  • Experience in wiring taillights, work lights, arrow board controllers, and other truck accessory equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems, fabrication equipment, and mechanical assemblies is a plus.
  • Ability to adhere to proper safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities.
  • Capability to work in a manufacturing environment, including long periods of standing and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.


Pay: $17-19

Shift- 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
