Job Description:
The Truck Wire Assembler will be responsible for wiring truck and accessory equipment using 12 VDC circuits. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of basic electrical 12 VDC circuits, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute work orders accurately.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot basic electrical circuits.
- Utilize multi-meters to read voltage, amperage draw, and resistance.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, basic wiring schematics, and diagrams.
- Terminate wires using solder, heat shrink connectors, Deutsch connectors, and various automotive connectors.
- Wire switches, relays, fuses, PTO, hydraulic valves, run wire harnesses, and integrate truck body builders with truck switches or safety interlocks.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in wiring taillights, work lights, arrow board controllers, and other truck accessory equipment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems, fabrication equipment, and mechanical assemblies is a plus.
- Ability to adhere to proper safety procedures and guidelines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities.
- Capability to work in a manufacturing environment, including long periods of standing and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Pay: $17-19
