Description: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2024/2025 school year in Wayne, NE. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students who have diverse learning needs and exceptionalities. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with other educators and support staff, and providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to support student success.
• Provide instruction tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and attendance.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and exceptionalities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Dedication to providing high-quality, individualized instruction to students with disabilities.
