Job Description

Kaw Valley State Bank is looking for a detail oriented and dedicated employee to work as our loan support clerk. A great applicant would have prior banking or financial experience.

Compensation:

$16 - $19 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Maintains and sets up files on each loan and ensures that the information is complete and accurate before proceeding to the loan officer for approval.
  • Processes paperwork for payments or fees.
  • Performs administrative duties, such as typing, filing or routine clerical work, as time permits.
  • Assists loan officer with loan generation, processing, preparation and maintenance.
  • Greets customers and directs them to the proper department or employee.
  • May answer general questions relating to financial institution services or arrange appointments as necessary.
  • Forwards telephone calls to specific individuals and records messages when the individuals are not present.
  • Processes invoices and check requests.
  • Generates weekly check runs and reports.
  • Receives and posts monthly payments, reviews accounts payable, and responds to such inquiries as necessary.
  • Maintains accounts payable files.
