Job Description:

1. Receive and inspect all incoming dry type transformers to provide information to Sales/Engineering as needed
2. Disassembly of transformer- Document and label all parts
   1. To include enclosure if supplied
   2. Disassemble core and coil taking care not to damage core laminations for reuse
3. Reassemble of transformer with new coils reusing OEM core and clamping structure(s)- replacement of electrical buss and cables as needed
4. Final assembly of transformer to include all pertinent accessories, control wiring, and enclosure assembly as needed.
5. Assist in final shipping prep and loading of completed transformer

Needed Skills:

1. Basic mechanical skills
   1. Use of standard hand tools
   2. Use of all hand-held power tools
      1. Drill, grinder, metal saws, impact tools etc.
   3. Use of gas torches for soldering/brazing copper
   4. Familiarity with steel/aluminum welding
   5. Ability to accurately use and read measuring tools
   6. Understanding or ability to learn to read basic electrical and mechanical drawings
2. Full mobility and use of both hands is a necessity to allow for proper removal and reinstallation of core laminations
3. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
4. Proper use and understanding of all PPE and safety equipment as needed/specified
5. Possible onsite-travel once trained ( 1-3 years depending on skill level )
