2-2-3 Shift schedule/hours:

  • Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday
  • 12-hour static shifts (Nights – 6:00pm – 6:00am)

Compensation:

  • Starting wage ranges from $28.00 - $32.00 dependent upon experience
  • Night shift differential: $2.50

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
You will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines which include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for designated shift employees, following employee engagement & retention metrics
  • Drive accountability and motivation within team
  • Delegates effectively to cover all departmental goals
  • Effective communication with all departments / management to foster a great productive teamwork
  • Shift engagement champion attitude
  • Facilitate Plant 2 shift huddles
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are being followed
  • Collaborate with teammates to achieve safety goals
  • Responsible for ensuring the shifts training, policies, and procedures are completed on time for their team
  • Tracking of op level progression & employee cross-training
  • Handles Shift level ADP for their team
  • Collaborate and take the lead for timely employee performance reviews of Plant 2
  • Working with the QC techs and QC manager to ensure that the highest level of quality is being followed
  • Analyze and complete owners charts and production schedules to set production requirements, production estimates, and outputs
  • Confirm Plant is meeting all BRCGS/ISO/GMP compliance standards
  • Responsible for coordinating production start ups, shut downs, and changeovers
  • Schedules staff as appropriate for production needs
  • Responsible for adhering to production schedules
  • Helps to identify opportunities to run according to SOC
  • Notify and work closely with maintenance on machine and building issues
  • Occasionally assist on line operations

  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed

OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required. Combination of degree and experience may be considered.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization including diverse cultures.
  • Demonstrated skill in organizing work, communicating, setting priorities, and sound decision-making.
  • Strong work and personal ethics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Ability to read and analyzes production documents.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing dynamic environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand most of their 12-hour shift on a cement production floor. The team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must repetitively lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to routinely climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
