Job Description
Journeyman Welder
Scope:
Electrical company seeking an experienced Stainless TIG welder. Skills will require the ability to coordinate a layout design, plan workload and implement with two apprentice welders.
Detailed Scope:
- Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications.
- Marks up construction drawings and specifications with as-built status.
· Layout of stainless process pipe.
· Ability design, fabricate and install stainless hanger supports to fit electrical conduit paths.
· Competent to layout, knock out and pull stainless enclosures in preparation for purge welding.
· Competent at designing stainless purge piping paths for electrical conduits.
· Competent at fitting of stainless purge piping path.
· Can coordinate workload allocation and implementation with (2) apprentice welders.
· Has the ability to coordinate with electrical leads for material. Is also mindful of material usage and waste.
· Has the ability to design, fabricate and install stainless sanitary stands and frames.
· Aluminum welding skills a plus.
- Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group.
· Must be safety conscientious.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
