Job Summary / Basic Function:

SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION: The Coordinator of Instructional Support will assist the Instruction Division in varied aspects of instruction and accreditation. The role will interface with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong interpersonal skills and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge and experience in areas of budgeting, financial administration, and personnel administration are required. Experience in advising, curriculum, state-reporting, articulation agreements, and grant compliance is preferred. Requires individual with strong sense of attention to detail and importance of meeting deadlines and who can handle several tasks simultaneously. Initiative, self-starter, and analytical skills are mandatory. Above average skills in the utilization of computer systems, including PCs to extract (query) and report information is essential. Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidential information required. This is an exempt position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates the building of credit schedule, prepares state reporting documents, updates College Catalog, the Semester Class Schedules, and various publications.
  • Updates LIT curriculum, course list, major codes, new programs with name changes (Inventory Tracking Form). Submit new and revised programs and programs with name changes to the registrar’s office.
  • Participate in activities associated with SACS accreditation, program accreditation, interview committees, appropriate training, and other miscellaneous college initiatives, as needed.
  • Responsible for grant management and reporting.
  • General office duties and other duties as assigned including assisting deans with other projects, campus projects, training, etc.
  • Maintain list of Clinical and co-op site, and works with Program Coordinators to complete licensure report.
  • Maintain articulation agreements, personnel and hiring reports.
  • Coordinate with payroll on personnel action form (F3.2). Coordinate Promotion, Tenure, and Title Change requests with the departments, to ensure deadlines are met. Ensure that Faculty Workload Reports, faculty/staff daily schedules, and Extra Service Agreements for full-time are completed.
  • Manage the division’s annual operational budget expenditures and facilities, including documenting disposals, assisting in physical inventories, and maintaining appropriate records.
  • Develop and monitor expenditures and prepare budget revisions as required.
  • Coordinate with deans to set up Advisory Committee meetings, departmental recruiting events, and curriculum revisions and submission.
  • Coordinate distribution of documents for Enrollment Services. “Ensure that grades and end of course folders have been submitted, reviewed, and approved.
  • Provide direct support to deans and other staff as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned to this position on a regular or occasional basis to respond to needs of the Institute.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate degree
  • 3 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of advising, curriculum, and grant experience
Salary:

40,000-42,000
