WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
- Education: BS in technical discipline such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Math or equivalent experience
• Required Technical Skills:
- Experience with Linux (Redhat, and/or CentOS) administration.
- Experience with the VI, VIM, or NANO in Linux.
- Experience with Perl coding language in Linux.
- Experience with migration from MS-SQL to PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and general windows administration.
- Some experience with documentation and IT policy/process capture as well as dissemination across a heterogeneous environment.
- Must have desire to learn new skills and work with new technologies.
- Experience working in a government environment.
- Proficient in the use of all programs included in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with implementation and design of networks.
• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret SSBI or TS Clearance required
• Preferred Skills:
- Security, Microsoft or LINUX Certification.
- PowerShell scripting is a plus.
- SSMS experience.
- Experience with EquaLogic SANs or FreeNAS
- Experience with Cross Domain Solutions.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as .NET or Java.
- Vmware ESXi experience
- Experience deploying mission critical systems, internal or on customer site.
- Experience optimizing environments for high performance.
- Experience with planning for disaster recovery.
- Experience with enterprise applications like Apache, IIS, Team Foundations and Glassfish.
- Experience with databases (MSSQL and PostgreSQL).
