Genesis10 is seeking a Systems Engineer: II (Intermediate) for a contract with our client in Laurel, MT. 100% Remote. Job Description: Our client has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology group. We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to support surveillance (Camera and Security) systems across "client " facilities. This position will be part of the IT Global Infrastructure team working across all client business lines and supporting domestic and international sites. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are essential. Key Responsibilities: Build strong relationships with Business and IT stakeholders. Ability to partner with business to understand system requirements. Generate comprehensive documentation for systems and new use cases. Demonstrate proficiency in Security/Camera systems, including setup and configuration. Exhibit strong communication skills, translating technical details and project statuses for various audiences. Coordinate resources across multiple IT teams to ensure successful project delivery. Understanding of server patching + OS systems for Windows. Take ownership of the maintenance and support of surveillance and security systems. Demonstrate solid understanding of network protocols. Manage and resolve incidents and project work through Corporate systems. Provide technical support and training to end users. Enforce established department policies related to security, system builds, and environment segmentation. Perform other duties as needed or assigned. Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Required Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma (or equivalent) 2+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT Architecture and Engineering including of IT support in one or more of the following areas: Systems experience including upgrading, patching, performance monitoring, connectivity, and backup/recovery Managing camera system Managing access control (badging) system Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field Experience working with Milestone, Genetec or comparable surveillance system Lenel OnGuard Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
