SUMMARY DESCRIPTION The Human Resources Generalist is responsible and accountable for coordinating activities including but not limited to employment and employee relations, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager. Conducts ongoing information and training sessions to develop employees and provide support and problem resolution. • Coordinates distribution/communication of projects including but not limited to Employee Policy handbook, 401(k) open enrollment, and employee recognition. • Identifies potential employee-relations issues and makes recommendations to management. • Conducts investigations into claims of harassment or other company-guideline violations. • Coordinates administration of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims. • Participate in the investigation of incidents, near misses and property damage incidents. Ensure follow-up is done to minimize future exposure and proper records/documents are maintained. • Assists in administration of company compensation and benefits programs. • Performs other related duties as assigned by management. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for day-to-day employee relations including management of temporary employment agencies staffing as well as recruiting, on-boarding, performance management, safety and separation of core employees via collaboration with hiring managers. This position is the key liaison and administrator between the PEO (Professional Employment Organization) and the core employees of the company for all site specific HR matters. *** MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH***
