Description

The Leidos Intelligence Group has an opening for a fully cleared Communications Specialist who is seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Northern Virginia.  This is a new position with tremendous opportunity for personal and professional growth, an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting an important mission in the National Security arena.  In this position, you will be focused on providing mission critical information worldwide via the customers official internal messaging system to provide real-time support and coordination in emergency situations. 

Primary Responsibilities:

This operational savvy position will serve as a trusted advisor to the customer by providing advance support:

  • In this role, the Communications Specialist will assist with organizing transportation of patients from their location to the hospital setting with coordination and notifications to the receiving hospital to be ready for the patient arrival.
  • Responsibilities include obtaining the appropriate information for service requests and providing any additional assistance necessary to meet the receiving teams to be prepared for arrival.
  • The Communications Specialist shares responsibility for working cooperatively with all team members in high stress situations.
  • The Communications Specialist dispatches and communicates with all team members, maintains logs and records, and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responds promptly and efficiently to requests for service (air and ground)
  • Demonstrates the ability to establish a rapport with customers; including the ability to create and sustain a positive relationship; regardless of circumstances or environment.
  • Experience providing advanced level administrative support in a fast-paced office with mission critical requirements, to include schedule and reports, status briefs and presentations, and recommendations.
  • Experience with a wide range of operational and support activities for overseas missions and support.
  • Expertise in utilizing internal admin tools to concur, coordinate, track and document requirements.
  • Ability to understand and explain the services offered by the office and the unique quals of the staff that support in this area.
  • Possess graphic design skills to illustrate the needs and accomplishments of the office.
  • Demonstrated superior communications.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to communicate concepts to a variety of audiences, both in person and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration and teambuilding skills, and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to build relationships with multiple teams to support cross collaboration.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong customer service skills.
  • Keen flexibility and creativity; ability to identify and respond to evolving priorities and identify solutions to problems.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgement, and flexibility to adapt and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to plan, set goals, and determine strategies for accomplishing results, as well as monitor, evaluate and report on progress towards goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the classified client’s project management framework and protocols

Pay Range:Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
