Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to fill the role of School-based Paraprofessional for the uping academic year in Westminster, VT. As a Paraprofessional, you will work alongside educators to support the diverse needs of students within the school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic success.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of recent experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
- mitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in various educational settings, under the guidance of certified teachers and school staff.
- Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other specialized plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities or special requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Offer one-on-one or small group instruction to students as directed by classroom teachers.
- Assist with classroom management, organization, and preparation of instructional materials.
- Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere conducive to student growth and development.
