Soliant and its affiliates are currently seeking dedicated and qualified individuals to fill the role of School-based Paraprofessional for the uping academic year in Westminster, VT. As a Paraprofessional, you will work alongside educators to support the diverse needs of students within the school environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students and contribute to their academic success.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of recent experience working in a school or educational setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and collaborate as part of a team.
  • mitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in various educational settings, under the guidance of certified teachers and school staff.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other specialized plans to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities or special requirements.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Offer one-on-one or small group instruction to students as directed by classroom teachers.
  • Assist with classroom management, organization, and preparation of instructional materials.
  • Foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere conducive to student growth and development.
