Job Details:
- Position: School Social Worker
- Location: Nanticoke, PA
- Licensure Requirements: Valid Pennsylvania School Social Worker license preferred, state license is required
- Type: Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
- Onsite: Yes
- Contract Duration: Positions available for both the current school year and the 2024/2025 school year
- Hourly pensation Rate Range: $32 to $40 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and munity resources to support students' academic success and overall well-being
- Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans to address students' needs
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on students' social and emotional goals
- Serve as a liaison between school, home, and munity agencies to coordinate services for students and families
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during challenging situations
