Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full Time Contract Position

Duration: ASAP through Remainder of 2023-2024 School Year, with strong likelihood for continuation into 2024-2025

Job Description: A reputable school district in Louisiana is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position. The successful candidate will join a team-oriented environment, working across two campuses with a total of 51 students ranging from PreK to 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to a caseload of 51 students, with a majority receiving speech/language as a related service.
• Work closely with a diverse range of students, with 35 students benefiting from speech/language as a related service and 16 students requiring speech services as a primary need.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized plans and goals for each student.
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy services to address speech and language disorders.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active state licensure in Louisiana (or ability to obtain).
• Certificate of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for consideration.
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
