Full-Time Paraprofessional - Lincoln, MI
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Paraprofessional to join our team for the 2023-24 school year in Lincoln, MI. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs, working closely with educators to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing instructional plans and provide support to students.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce learning concepts.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to address the individual needs of students.
- Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
- Provide support for students with special needs, ensuring their inclusion in all aspects of the school day.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma; some college coursework or an associate degree is preferred.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Ability to follow direction and work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with students.
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Ability to adhere to ProCare Therapy and school district policies.
Contract Details:
- Full-time position for the 2023-24 school year.
