Join our team at Advanced Pediatric Care as a Pediatric Home Health Nurse LVN / RN, delivering high-quality healthcare services to pediatric patients in the Port Arthur area. At Advanced Pediatric Care, we are committed to improving the lives of children and their families through compassionate and comprehensive care.

The current opening is for shifts in Port Arthur. 7a-6p Monday – Friday or 12a-7a 3 days a week

-LVN range from $19.00-$30.00 per hour (depending on experience, shift, and acuity)

-RN range from $25.00-$40.00 per hour (depending on experience, shift, and acuity)

*Shift differentials for nights and for weekends

We may have the perfect spot for you! Be it a shift or two a month or a week or even Full-time employment! We can work around school and hospital schedules if you are just wanting to pick up a few extra shifts.

Training provided. PTO and insurance available for full-time employment.

Responsibilities
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals -
  • Monitoring patients' health conditions and reporting any changes or concerns to the medical team -
  • Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding -
  • Providing emotional support to patients and their families -
  • Conducting patient assessments and following care plans -
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care -
  • Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and health management

Requirements

  • Current LVN / RN license in Texas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of pediatric medical equipment and procedures
  • CPR certification
