Accountant / Financial Analyst - Eastern Long Island

Marcum Search is assisting our client in identifying an Accountant - Financial Analyst for their high-end retail and design business in Bridgehampton, Long Island, NY. Qualified candidates must have strong data analytics, budgeting, forecasting, Excel and financial analysis skills. Seeking a minimum of 3+ years of related accounting experience.

Position Summary:

Seeking a candidate who is strong in data analytics, budgeting and forecasting. Must have strong Excel skills combined with a Financial Analysis background. The Financial Accountant will support all aspects of the finance and accounting departments, including month-end close, expense activities, annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, financial reporting, and ad-hoc analysis impacting business divisions as required by the finance team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3 to 5 years of related experience is required.
• Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role, experience working in a financial planning and analysis department with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Sage, Acumatica ERPs, and Salesforce preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $80K to $100K (FLEXIBLE) + bonus + excellent benefits!
Hours: 8am-5pm F/T onsite
