Outpatient Dietitian

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a full-time outpatient position with Naples Comprehensive Health at Eagleview in Naples, FL. In this role, the selected candidate will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care to current patients while also focusing on program growth. NCH Eagleview is located a short drive (<3 miles) from the NCH Baker campus.

The successful candidate will:

• maintain a strong working knowledge of nutrition standards of care for the outpatient setting;
• serve as an active member of the multidisciplinary care team, with involvement in group education classes, committees and community outreach events as needed;
• participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives; and
• mentor/coach Dietetic Interns.

• Registered Dietitian credential and 2-3 years of experience;
• CDCES (preferred);
• excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing needs;
• a history of working independently with little direction and with a positive outlook; and
• a commitment to continued education in the nutrition field.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable, or advanced practice certification (RD-AP/RDN-AP)
