School COTA Need- QUINLAN, TEXAS

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a passionate School Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals facing various challenges.

Description:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapies
• Conduct therapeutic activities an exercise to improve patients motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors degree
• Valid COTA State certification

Skills:

• Proficiency in assessing and treating
• Strong communication
• Ability to convey health information to students and staff effectively
• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate medical records

Job Detail:

• Direct Therapy from 7:30-4pm (30 min unpaid lunch)
• Following ARDs (or IEPs as known as other states)
• Updating progress reports
• Caseload will be tailored to candidates preferences and experience level
• Mild to Moderate Disabilities: Autism, Down-Syndrome, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills
