They are responsible for communicating clearly to the Operators, Team Leads, Plant Workers and Quality Manager when quality failures occur. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Responsibilities:· Understand company Quality Management System and adhere to policies and procedures.· Performs Quality approval for Manufacturing Line startups at start of shift.· Completes routine in-process and final product inspection throughout the shift to ensure desired quality and documentation requirements are being met.· Inspects incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual/measurements tests, using previous production run and/or customer signoff samples for verification and approves/rejects materials.· Performs Manufacturing line purgation for job change overs.· Ensures proper materials and documentation are present at the start of new job.· Collects, prepares and packages First Article/Pre-Shipment Approval samples as required by customer.· Completes all associated paperwork related to duties & responsibilities accurately and legibly.· Escalation of any quality issues to Line personnel and/or production supervision.· Any other tasks that may be assigned by Quality Manager. Qualifications & Requirements•High School Diploma or equivalent minimal.•2yrs. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferrable.•Work in a team related environment.•Familiar with GMP a plus.•Must be able to lift 50lbs.•Able to stand for duration of shift.
