Maintenance Electrician (Food Industry)

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Location: Rocky Mount, NC

Responsibilities:

• Examining and maintaining the electrical components of the industrial equipment (chocolate refiners and jar line)

• Installing and repairing electrical components

• Ensuring that the safety protocols are followed at all times

• Conducting inspections and quality control checks on a regular basis

• Servicing and repairing wiring and fixtures

• Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators

• Cleaning, repairing, and replacing wires and circuits board

• Troubleshooting any problems with the electrical equipment

• Maintaining a record of the maintenance and repair work conducted

Requirements:

• High school diploma in Electrical Technology or a related field

• Proven work experience as an Industrial Electrician or a similar role (Food industry is a plus)

• Complete knowledge of electrical codes, systems, and components

• Knowledge of the health and safety protocols

• Familiarity with hand tools and testing equipment like wire cutters, soldering tools, calibrators, and counters

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Good physical dexterity

• Good multitasking abilities

• Ability to work for long and flexible hours.
