Master Scheduler

Job Summary: Master Scheduler needed to develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules for maximum efficiency and meeting output and timeline objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.

• Understanding of best practices and technology trends in the supply chain field including lean methodologies.

• Strong technical knowledge related to the field of manufacturing.

• High school education or GED required. Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

• Seven+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• APICS certification strongly desired.

• Proficiency with MS Suite, specifically Excel skills.

• Strong understanding of ERP functionality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to schedule a flow of work that maximizes production resources.

• Coordinate with production team to ensure availability of resources for meeting production schedules.

• Develop production schedule that ensures on-time delivery of products while maximizing shop efficiency.

• Communicate and collaborate with upstream operations and leadership on scheduled work and backlog status.

• Address delays in schedule deadlines or other issues impacting schedule due dates.

• Lead the development and implementation of new production planning processes, tools, and systems.

• Analyze production data and provide regular reports to management on production performance.

• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, etc., in our production management system.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
