Human Resources Manager
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Gadsden, AL within the Automotive industry is seeking an HR Manager to join their team!
Human Resources Manager Job Summary:
  1. 1st Shift
  2. Provide leadership and support in HR including recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee and labor relations, employee development, training, AAP/EEO, and special projects.
  3. Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team.
  4. Responsible for compliance with regulatory agencies.
  5. Manage employee relations issues consistent with company/employee policy.
  6. Source, screen, and recommend candidates for employment.
  7. Conduct new employee orientation for both hourly and salaried positions.
  8. Responsible for employee appraisal process.
  9. Ensure compliance with training initiatives.
  10. Manage local workers compensation program
  11. Responsible for all leaves (investigation and follow up, STD, W/C, and FMLA.)
Human Resources Manager Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
  2. 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  3. Ability to build relationships and partnerships.
  4. Self-Starter.
  5. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  6. ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  7. Previous union experience including negotiations.
  8. Demonstrated success in a leadership role managing multiple functions.
