Human Resources Manager
Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a prominent client in Gadsden, AL within the Automotive industry is seeking an HR Manager to join their team!
Human Resources Manager Job Summary:
- 1st Shift
- Provide leadership and support in HR including recruitment, employment, personnel records, employee and labor relations, employee development, training, AAP/EEO, and special projects.
- Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to the Plant Manager and leadership team.
- Responsible for compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Manage employee relations issues consistent with company/employee policy.
- Source, screen, and recommend candidates for employment.
- Conduct new employee orientation for both hourly and salaried positions.
- Responsible for employee appraisal process.
- Ensure compliance with training initiatives.
- Manage local workers compensation program
- Responsible for all leaves (investigation and follow up, STD, W/C, and FMLA.)
Human Resources Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience
- Ability to build relationships and partnerships.
- Self-Starter.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Previous union experience including negotiations.
- Demonstrated success in a leadership role managing multiple functions.
